Hi! My name is Kat, I am an aspiring science writer and communicator based in London. I am currently studying science communication at UCL. I enjoy writing about a variety of topics and have covered a diverse range of fields in the past, including marine science, space exploration, public health, and neuroscience. I have yet to find an area of science I find totally boring (though I suppose there is still time to discover one).

Prior to pursuing science writing, I completed a master‘s degree in applied social psychology. My dissertation research focused on national social idenities and how they relate to political movements like Brexit.
